ChargeOn is a Salesforce-native payment processing and orchestration platform that sits between Salesforce and 20+ supported payment gateways, letting you process payments, manage recurring billing, and handle refunds directly from your Salesforce records, with every transaction updated in real-time.

ChargeOn is natively built on Salesforce, leveraging its native capabilities including Apex, LWC, and more. It communicates with the supported payment gateways and offers capabilities and features that securely process payments. You can collect Instant, Scheduled, or Recurring payments without switching tabs or logging into a separate payment system, and the transaction is recorded back to Salesforce the moment it completes.

ChargeOn connects natively to leading global payment gateways, so you configure credentials through a point-and-click setup in Global Settings rather than writing custom integration code. Your user verifies gateway credentials at setup, sets a Default Payment Gateway, and can run multiple gateways at once, so you're not building or maintaining integration logic yourself.

ChargeOn supports 20+ payment gateways natively and lets you configure more than one simultaneously. You are not dependent on a single provider. You can set a Default Payment Gateway for day-to-day use and switch it. Since your payment and transaction data lives in Salesforce rather than inside the gateway itself, changing providers doesn't mean rebuilding your setup.

ChargeOn handles this in two ways. Admins can set a Default Payment Gateway so it's auto-selected for transactions, and the Payment Gateway Fallback Mechanism automatically retries a failed card transaction on up to three priority-ordered fallback gateways. This eliminates the risk of losing a transaction due to gateway outage.

ChargeOn offers several features that reduce the risk of failed payments. The Expired Card Notifier flags cards nearing expiry before a scheduled or recurring charge, Account Payment Method Update Email Notification lets customers update their own card, Pre-Charge Customer Email Notifications warn customers before a charge goes out, and the Payment Gateway Fallback Mechanism retries failed card transactions on backup gateways. Unresolved Transaction also makes sure any payment that does fail gets captured rather than lost.

ChargeOn supports Card (debit/credit), Bank (ACH/E-check/SEPA/BECS), and Payment Link as core payment types, plus offline methods like Cash, Check, and Wire Transfer for recording payments received offline. Card and Bank payments work across Instant, Scheduled, and Recurring methods, while Payment Links support Instant and Scheduled only.

Yes. ChargeOn offers recurring and scheduled payment features. You can set up recurring workflows on Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, or Yearly frequencies, using count-based, final amount-based, end date-based, or subscription-based billing, with a summary preview before you confirm and an abort option if plans change. With scheduled payments, you can set a future payment date that ChargeOn processes automatically, and you can change that date any time before it runs.

Yes. ChargeOn has a Payment Gateway Fallback Mechanism through which you can switch records natively in Salesforce rather than inside the gateway. Switching your Default Payment Gateway doesn't require moving historical data anywhere. You update the gateway configuration in Global Settings, and your existing transaction records stay exactly where they are.

ChargeOn offers tokenization that encrypts sensitive card data with a secure token rather than storing raw card numbers in Salesforce, which is core to its PCI DSS compliance. With the Register Token feature, a payer’s information is saved and can be reused at the gateway level, eliminating the re-entering of card details.

Yes, ChargeOn is PCI-DSS compliant through tokenization, and Gateway Hosted Fields keep card data within the gateway's secure fields, further reducing your PCI scope. For global transactions, Multicurrency Support handles zero-, two-, and three-decimal currencies on a per-customer basis, and 3D Secure Card Enablement adds an extra cardholder authentication step to reduce fraud.

Yes. ChargeOn’s reconciliation feature helps reconcile and track payments. With this you can compare transactions across ChargeOn and 20+ payment gateways. You can identify matched, unmatched, and mismatched transactions to ensure accurate financial records.

Every transaction record in ChargeOn has a Refund button, so you can issue a full or partial refund directly from that record without leaving Salesforce. ChargeOn creates a linked "Refunded" transaction for your audit trail, notifies the customer by email, and lets you capture a refund reason and notes for documentation.

Agentforce in ChargeOn lets your team process Instant, Scheduled, Recurring payments and also through Payment Links. It manages payment methods, run Authorize, Capture, or Void, and locates refunds through a conversational interface inside Salesforce, without navigating multiple screens.
